With his light heavyweight battle at Reno’s "Summer Showdown" against Yerington’s Jesse Brinkley just three weeks away, Mike Paschall has ramped up his training and confidence level for their light heavyweight bout.
Finishing up an intense 90 minute training session, Paschall spoke about the upcoming fight..
“I watched Brinkley’s last fight with Joey Gilbert and I wasn’t impressed. Gilbert didn’t want to fight and I can tell the fight fans in Reno that they’ll see a much better fight on Friday, July 10th.”
Speaking about his training for the fight, Paschall stated, “My training and sparring has been perfect for this fight. I’m in great shape and right on weight for July 10th.”
About how he will fight Brinkley, Paschall said, “I’m going to fight him like a dog. Take it right to him from the opening bell. He won’t have to come looking for me or chase after me.”
In regards to fighting before the heavily partisan crowd expected in Reno, Paschall said, “I fought there twice as an amateur, won both times. They could set up the ring in Brinkley’s backyard and I’m okay with that. Fans in Reno want to see a real fight and that's what they're going to get."
Priced at $125.00, $75.00, $50.00 and $30.00, tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster www.ticketmaster.com phone 775-787-8497 and The Reno Events Center Box Office. (A five dollar discount will be available for students, military and police and fire personnel with ID for general admission tickets ($30.00).
"Summer Showdown" is presented by Reno ’s “Let’s Get It On” Promotions and Las Vegas based TKO Boxing Promotions.
