Undefeated lightweight sensation Bayan Jargal continues to take the boxing world by storm, scoring his fourth knockout of 2009 on July 25th.
Facing off against undefeated Josh Durden in Hilton Head, South Carolina, the all action Jargal broke down the rugged Durden with blistering body shots before earning the stoppage in the fifth round.
With the win, the 27 year old Jargal, based out of Arlington, Virginia, improved his record to 13-0-1 with nine knockouts as he continues to be one of the most talked about prospects in boxing.
Said Tommy Lane of “Let’s Get It On” Promotions, "Bayan has looked outstanding this year. Each time out he faces better competition and is truly raising his game.
“Everywhere he fights the fans have just been in awe of his power. He’s got a perfect style for a televised fight and we’re trying to have him on an ESPN or ShoBox card in the very near future.
“Our plan is to keep Bayan very busy this year, we’re thrilled at his progress and look forward to seeing him work his way up the lightweight rankings.”
Jargal’s next bout will take place at "Rural Rumble/Fallon Nights 2009" in Fallon, Nevada on Saturday, August 29th.
Tickets for "Rural Rumble/Fallon Nights 2009" starting at $15 for adults and $10 for kids 17 and under, are available now through the Fallon Convention by calling 866-232-5566 or 775-423-4556.
