Optimum Boxing: Prospect Veto Remains Undefeated In Hungary

By Boxing Press August 5th, 2009 All Press Releases

Hungarian lightweight prospect, the undefeated Gabor Veto (9-0, 8 KOs) ranked WBA-EBA #19, showed his power by dismantling German-Iranian Mohesen Moradian (3-2, 1 KO) in round two of their long awaited fight on Saturday night in front of 6.000 fanatic spectators in attendance at the beautiful Castle of Varpalota in Hungary.

A former member of the Hungarian Amateur national team, Veto, landed his stiff jab and good combinations throughout the bout in a fight that was scheduled for 10 rounds at lightweight in a WBC Youth Lightweight title eliminator. After two knockdowns the referee Istvan Kovacs stopped the fight in the second round, the time was 2:32.

The WBC President Dr. José Sulaiman sent his congratulations: “Gabor really has the makings of a champion - he is one for the future, for sure. The WBC will be fully opened for him.”

The fight was televised by TV-channel Sportklub and was broascast across the whole Central East Europe region.
