Michael Katsidis “The Great” has arrived in Las Vegas in preparation for his quest to become a world champion again.
Katsidis has signed on to face Vicente Escobedo on September 19 at the MGM Grand for the current WBO interim lightweight title.
The contest will take place on the same spectacular card as Floyd Mayweather Jr and Juan Manual Marquez’s super fight.
Katsidis spent his 29th birthday by sparring 9 rounds with two separate fighters in Vegas.
Coming off an impressive 7th round TKO of former champion Jesus Chavez, Katsidis is again ready to invade and conquer.
