The weigh in for tonight's Hennessy Sports event at the Watford Colosseum took place yesterday.
Commonwealth Welterweight Champ John O’Donnell came in at at 10 st 7.75 lb /147.75 lb and upset specialist Tom Glover at 10 st 6.75 lb/146.77 lb both weighing in ahead of their top of the bill clash.
The weigh in also took place for the Southern Area Welterweight title fight between Lee Purdy and Peter McDonagh, who both came in at 10 st 6.75 lb/146.75 before going nose to nose.
Both bouts feature on ITV4’s Big Fight Live which starts at 7.35pm tonight.
Boxing at the Watford Colosseum gets underway from 6.30pm on Saturday with an excellent supporting bill featuring unbeaten prospects Steve O’Meara, Bradley Evans and Bobby Ward. Sheffield prospects Richard Towers and Kid Galahad (subject to board approval) are also in action, alongside exciting puncher Yassine “The Showman” El Maachi.
