WBA Lightweight champion Juan Diaz has pulled-out of his April 23, 2005, defense against Ebo Elder, due to a cut that he suffered during sparring this morning. The fight, which was to be the co-main event of the first pay-per-view card presented by ESPN is to be replaced by undefeated prospect Raul Martinez. More information will be provided as it is received.
