Boxing Fans Invited To Greet WBO Champ Miguel Cotto At Las Vegas Airport

Three-time world champion Miguel Cotto breaks his Tampa training camp and heads to Las Vegas this Sunday, November 1. Cotto fans are invited to greet the champ at McCarran International Airport when he arrives at 3:55 p.m. PT on America Airlines #2249.

Cotto (34-1, 27 KOs), from Caguas, Puerto Rico, who has held a world title every year since 2004, has been in training since August, preparing for his WBO welterweight championship defense against boxing’s No. 1 attraction and pound for pound fighter Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao (49-3-2, 27 KOs), of General Santos City, Philippines.

Promoted by Top Rank, in association with MP Promotions, Miguel Cotto Promotions, MGM Grand and Tecate, Firepower: Pacquiao vs. Cotto will take place Saturday, November 14 at the sold out MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be produced and distributed Live on HBO Pay-Per-View®, beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

HBO's fast-moving reality series "24/7 Pacquiao/Cotto" returns with an all new episode today at 11 p.m. ET/PT. The four-episode series chronicles the preparations and back stories of both fighters as they train for their November 14 pay-per-view showdown. Episode one is available on HBO On Demand.
