Welterweight contender Paul "The Punisher" Williams scored the highest profile win of his career tonight with a ten-round decision win over Terrance Cauthen. The fight was held at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California as the main event. As detailed in our exclusive preview "This Week in boxing," Williams is noted for his advantageous physical proportions in height and reach and he used them to great effect over a hapless Cauthen who could offer little in response.
In the main support bout, Rolando Reyes scored a victory and got himself moving in the light welterweight division. Reyes was too much for opponent Jose Antonio Ojeda as their fight was halted after nine rounds with Ojeda unable to continue.
