Frank Maloney believes he is making Rendall Munroe’s WBC super-bantamweight title final eliminator against Victor Terrazas a great deal for fans.
Munroe hopes to celebrate St George’s Day on Friday April 23rd by defeating the Mexican warrior at Coventry Skydome and guaranteeing a shot at world champion Toshiaki Nishioka later this year.
Promoter Maloney has slashed ticket prices to help the popular Leicester binman’s world title ambitions come true at the 3200 capacity venue.
More than 2000 of tickets available will be on sale at £30 making it an affordable night out to cheer the southpaw ring ace.
Other tickets prices are £50 and even ringside tickets for the marathon show that will include at least 10 undercard bouts are just £70.
Maloney said: “I am delighted to make two-thirds of the tickets at £30 which is a decent price for fight between two of the best super-bantamweights in the world.
“The undercard will include one or two more championship fights, Olympic bronze medallist Tony Jeffries and the best prospects in the Midlands. I believe the venue will be sold out and at the end of the night I want fans to go home feeling that have had a great value-for-money night.
“I am sure the competitive prices and exciting undercards will encourage Rendall’s growing army of fans to make the short trip to Leicester to cheer on another sporting success for the city.”
