Australian super middleweight contender Danny Green has sensationally parted ways with his trainer, boxing legend and former multi-weight world champion Jeff Fenech. Green recently lost a WBC world title bid to current champion Markus Beyer in Germany and the Australian was considered the interim champion of the organization. Having admittedly let down against Beyer, Green needs to refocus himself and suggestions are that Fenech is unable to devote the required time to this effort while also training former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Cuban boxing trainer Ismael Salas has reportedly been drafted in to assume training duties with Green.
We will keep you informed of developments with both camps as they happen.
