CatBox Boxing: Zuhdi, Fields, Aubrey Featured On May 21 Fight Card

Fight Night returns in full force on Friday, May 21, 2010, as catBOX Entertainment once again brings world class professional boxing entertainment to Oklahoma!

catBOX Entertainment has grown and teamed up with the Marriott Renaissance hotel and moved our thrilling boxing action from Remington Park to the spectacular Cox Convention Center, 1 Myriad Gardens, a great boxing venue located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, only steps from Bricktown.

There are many exciting fights on the card. Back in action will be:

Oklahoma Lightweight Champion Noah Zuhdi (9-1, 9 KOs) fighting tough veteran Chuck Dairy, Kansas City, Missouri. Zuhdi and Dairy have one common opponent, Rafael Torres, with both men defeating Torres. Zuhdi is known as 135 pounds of fighting fury.

World ranked 200 pounder Eric Fields (14-1, 12 KOs), 2005 and 2006 National Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion will fight Edward Gutierrez (15-8, 6 KOs), Oakland California, in a six round match up. Gutierrez lost a ten round decision to the current NABF Champion Matt Godfrey (20-1) and will be a rough fight for Fields.

Popular 290 pound heavyweight Ron “The Ice Man” Aubrey (8-2, 8 KOs) will be fighting fast and rugged Markis Fredrick. Aubrey has successfully crossed over as a brawler in the ice hockey rink to becoming a force in the boxing ring.

Other excellent fights on the card include a four round bout with 175 pounder Travis Hoffman, OKC, and another four round bout with middleweight Kamel Al-Olabi traveling to OKC from Brooklyn, New York, to fight Warren Walker (1-0, 1 KO), Tulsa.

Rounding out the card is a battle between two Oklahoma rivals, Zack McMillen (1-3, 1 KO), Tishomingo, and Quinton Quigley, Shawnee.

Individual tickets, priced at $75.00 (platinum ringside table seats), $65.00 (gold table seats) $37.50 (reserved seating), and $27.00 (general admission) are available for purchase at www.tix.com or by phone at 800.595.4849.

We’re expecting a boxing event loaded with exciting boxing action and incredible boxing talent. You’ll also see the catBOX ring girls doing the famous catBOX strut with catBOX t-shirt giveaways and hear the National Anthem being sung by acclaimed recording artist Darla Z.
