Tonight in Germany, heavyweight fighter Nicolai Valuev scored a solid three round stoppage over American Clifford Etienne. The American, formerly known for fighting Mike Tyson and Calvin Brock, and of course for being stopped rather spectacularly on both occasions, would seem to be at the end of his pretensions in world-class company. Valuev, of Russia, improves to forty-one wins without a loss, claiming Etienne, Attilla Levin and Gerald Nobles as victims in recent fights.
Also, Germany based Turkish fighter Oktay Urkal rebounded from his disappointing stoppage loss to WBA champion Vivian Harris with a twelve-round decision over unheralded Ferederic Klose.
Stay tuned for more of tonight's results as they happen.
