An eclectic group of guests are scheduled for this week’s editions of the New England Ringside radio show, Thursday and Saturday evening, live from Boston.
Norman “Stoney” Stone, John Ruiz’ fiery manager/head trainer, undefeated welterweight prospect “Nasty” Nick Morganelli and matchmaker John Beninati are guests on Thursday’s two-hour New England Ringside Boxing Radio Show – hosted by Ted Bodenrader, Anthony Pepe, Rick Brutti and Joe Bills – airing between 6-8 PM/ET on Boston’s Boxing Station, The Zone (1510 AM). It also may be heard live on the Internet by going to www.newenglandringside.com.
Unbeaten Irish middleweight John Duddy (9-0, 9 KOs) is scheduled to be Saturday night’s NER guest, 7-9 PM/ET from Boston on WWZN, with show hosts Bill Skog, “Irish” Pat Kelley, “Dynamite” Danny Sheehan and Jeff “HellRaza” Fraza. Duddy will talk about his meteoric rise and June 11 fight against Texas middleweight champion Victor Lares (10-1, 3 KOs) on the Cotto-Abdullaev undercard at historic Madison Square Garden.
On both shows representatives of NER Promotions, a division of New England Ringside, will announce its summer pro boxing show schedule, including “Expressway Jam,” June 3 at Freeport Hall (IBEW) in Dorchester (MA).
