In the latest of a long line of impressive acquisitions, Oscar de la Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions company has signed IBF light middleweight champion Kassim "The Dream" Ouma. The twenty-six-year-old southpaw champion from Uganda holds a professional record of twenty-one wins against one loss and a draw. To date, Ouma can claim victories over such notable fighters as Verno Phillips, Kofi Jantuah, J.C. Candelo and Carlos Bojorquez en route to and in defense of his championship. Having recently called out undisputed middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins, it is obvious that Ouma feels that he is ready to take on the very best fighters in the world. Stay tuned for the next step in Kassim Ouma's career.
