Undefeated Venezuelan WBA flyweight champion Lorenzo Parra returns to action against another undefeated fighter in his next bout. Parra will defend his championship against Frenchman Brahim Asloum, whose record stands at eighteen wins against no defeats. As the European flyweight champion, Asloum has faced such names as Alexander Mahmutov, Noel Arambulet and Zolile Mbityi, and he faces one last stop along the Europeab road in defense of his title against Ivan Pozo before challenging Parra for world honors. As the champion waiting for his challenger, Parra stands at an impressive twenty-five wins with seventeen stoppages. He has beaten Yo Sam Choi and Eric Morel in recent years and those stoppages appear to have dried up momentarily as he logged a series of decisions in recent times. Parra will travel to France to fight Asloum and is yet to fight in the United States.
