British fight manager Jack Trickett has launched a verbal attack on WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison ahead of Harrison's clash with Trickett's fighter, Michael Brodie this Friday. According to the Scotsman.com online source, Trickett stunned media and onlookers alike with a tirade against Harrison, prompted by Harrison's lateness to a pre-fight press conference. Trickett laid into Harrison with such barbs as, "an ignorant bastard," and "very unprofessional." Harrison's camp revealed their displeasure earlier this week at the prospect of Harrison, the defending champion, travelling to England to defend his title before an all-English panel of judges. These latest developments can only add a little more intensity to what was already believed to be a potential English classic.
