Stoke Promoter – Paul Dykes, will host a Dinner Show next Thursday (11th November) at the Moat House Hotel, in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
The event will showcase three contests and headlines the British Masters Welterweight Title bout between Rob Hunt of Stafford and Ben Lawler of Skegness.
After a successful Martial Arts career which earned him a Midlands Title – Hunt entered the amateur boxing ranks for Stafford ABC. After winning two contests by KO he turned pro in 2006 and remains unbeaten with a 14 win, 1 draw record.
Lawler is no stranger to Hunt – as the two men fought each other at Wolverhampton Civic in September when Hunt secured a points win at Light-Welterweight over six rounds.
Dykes says that ‘if Hunt overcomes his next hurdle against Lawler, he will be looking to put him in for a Midlands Title shot and then possibly an eliminator for the English Title.’
Also on the Bill, popular former amateur star and Lightweight – Andy Keats, makes his debut against Dan Carr of Trowbridge. Keats is from the Impact Boxing stable in Fenton – home to Scott Lawton and Chris Edwards, who are both fighting on big fight-cards this month.
Tickets are still available for the 3-fight event at the Moat House Hotel, which includes a 3-course dinner and entertainment. Contact: 07831777310
