Arturo “Thunder” Gatti is a special guest on Thursday’s two-hour New England
Ringside Boxing Radio Show – hosted by Ted Bodenrader, Anthony Pepe, Rick
Brutti and Joe Bills – airing between 6-8 PM/ET on Boston’s Boxing Station,
The Zone (1510 AM). Gatti will be joined by his manager, Pat Lynch, and New
York Daily News boxing writer Tim Smith.
Gatti will discuss his June 25 mega-fight against “Pretty Boy” Floyd
Mayweather, as well as his famed trilogy and close friendship with “Irish”
Micky Ward. Lynch will talk about what it’s been like managing one of
boxing’s most popular fighters, while Smith, who also is an analyst for
Showtime, offers his thoughts about Gatti-Mayweather, Tszyu-Hatton and
Hopkins-Taylor.
Saturday night’s show, broadcast weekly between 7-9 PM/ET, is hosted by
NER’s Bill Skog, “Irish” Pat Kelley, “Dynamite” Danny Sheehan and Jeff
“HellRaza” Fraza. This week’s show is a Tyson-McBride special featuring
McBride’s head trainer, Goody Petronelli and advisor Richie Cappiello
calling in fight night from Washington D.C. Showtime analyst and well known
boxing writer Steve Farhood will breakdown Saturday night’s Cotto-Abdullaev
main event at Madision Sqaure Garden and supporting fighter John Duddy as
well, plus Steve will offer his perspective on Tsyzu-Hatton. Main Event’s
hard-working publicist Donald Tremblay will also be on the show.
