British super featherweight champion "Amazing" Alex Arthur will challenge for the European super featherweight crown on July 9 against Boris Sinitsin. Russia's Sinitsin will travel to Arthur's Edinburgh for the fight as Arthur attempts to win all domestic and European championships outright. Arthur aims to follow in the footsteps of current Scottish world featherweight champion Scott Harrison and after British fighter Ricky Hatton's historic victory over Kostya Tszyu earlier this month, fighters from the British Isles are taking heart in that accomplishment and plotting their own route to world boxing stardom.
