Scott Harrison may get his wish and be able to test himself against the world's greatest featherweight fighter, Juan Manuel Marquez. In a great showcase earlier this month, Harrison obviously impressed Showtime chief Jay Larkin in his fourth round stoppage of Michael Brodie as Larkin insists that he is quite willing to accommodate Harrison's desire to fight the best by matching him with Marquez in a fight that may happen later this year. Harrison has called out Marquez and Marco Antonio Barrera and was close to fighting Marquez before Harrison's disappointing showing against Colombian Victor Polo. In the end, it was Polo that secured the title fight with Marquez, ending up being predictably shut out by the classy Mexican champion.
We will bring you confirmation of this fight when we receive the official word.
