Boxing In Thailand: Chonlatarn Retains WBC Asian Crown

WBC #2 featherweight Chonlatarn Or Piriyapinyo (37-0,21KOs) successfully kept his WBC Asian Boxing Council (ABCO) 126lb title when he defeated PBF

champion TI Yamagata Aguelo (14-4-1,8KOs) on Friday at Nongpralae Park in Lablae, Utraradith, Thailand.

The source reported that experienced Thai fighter mostly controlled the show with his superior skills, almost dropping his foe many times in round 5,7 and 8, before he easily scored a 119-109,118-110,118-110 unanimous decision.

After the bout, Chonlatarn’s promoter announced that her boy is scheduled to risk against WBC#6 Justin Savi for the WBC final elimination bout on June 4 in Bangkok.

In other action, WBO#7 light Thai Tor Silachai (21-2,15 KOs) stopped Orono Muangsima in round six. ABCO#2 fly Kwanpichit 13 Rien Express (6-0,4KOs) destroyed Payaknum Sithniwat in the opening round. ABCO female 126lb title holder Sainamdoi Pitaklo-ngen (8-1-1) outpointed Nongprem Nonthonggym in a six round non-title bout.
