Amazingly, Irish journeyman fighter Kevin McBride might be on the verge of challenging for a world championship having disposed of former world heavyweight champion, and now apparently retired fighter Mike Tyson. McBride survived Tyson's meager offerings and a few illegal tactics as Tyson's desperation ended with him quitting at the end of the sixth round. Norman Stone, trainer and manager of newly reinstated three time WBA world champion John Ruiz says he is interested in offering McBride a title defense against Ruiz.
