British and Commonwealth featherweight champion Nicky Cook kept his undefeated streak and hopes of a world title fight alive by knocking out opponent Dazzo Williams in two short rounds last night in England. Cook, who is unbeaten in twenty-five fights, came out strong and looked to end matters early, which he eventually did courtesy of an impressive rib shot that took Williams out of the equation suddenly and completely. With the win, Cook remains one of England's hottest featherweight prospects, and if a fight between WBO world featherweight champion and unified WBA/IBF champion Juan Manuel Marquez cannot be made, Cook may find himself in with Harrison before the year is out.
