Current British fight scene standouts Carl Froch and Junior Witter will return to action this week as they continue to fly the Hennessy Sport's banner alongside that of Oscar de la Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions company. Froch, the British and Commonwealth super middleweight champion will take on former European light heavyweight title challenger Matthew Barney. The loquacious Froch has already called out Jeff Lacy, Robin Reid and Joe Calzaghe after less than twenty fights but it remains to be seen if he truly deserves to be in that class. Barney should test Froch's mettle signicantly. Witter returns to action for the first time since defeating Lovemore N'Dou in a great American showcase fight earlier this year. With all of the incredible light welterweight options abound right now, hopefully for Witter, he can defeat Andreas Kotelnik and make his way towards a world title fight.
