The boxing community will not only be watching Las Vegas on July 16, they will also be watching Bolton, England to see the debut of Olympic Silver medal winner Amir Khan. After a much publicized courtship, Frank Warren delivered the professional career of Khan who looks set to become one of England's best-loved boxers. The man who stands in the way of a successful beginning to what many feel will be an outstanding career is David Bailey, a fighter with a record of three wins and four losses. Bailey has predominantly fought as a super featherweight but will step up to the lightweight limit to meet Khan. Bernard Hopkins and Jermain Taylor will contest the middleweight championship on the same night, but long before we settle down to watch that fight, we will know whether Amir Khan is off to a winning start or not.
