With great sadness, SaddoBoxing acknowledges the death of former light heavyweight contender Julian "Mr. KO" Letterlough. Letterlough, who gave boxing one of its most memorable fights in recent years against former WBO world light heavyweight champion Julio Gonzalez was apparently shot to death last night. He was thirty-five-years-old at the time of his death and leaves behind a grieving family and boxing industry associates, to all of whom we offer our sincere condolensces. Julian Letterlough came from Reading, PA and throughout his career, he won local titles as well as the NABO light heavyweight championship. He unsuccessfully challenged Vassiliy Jirov for the IBF cruiserweight title. The final bell tolls on Letterlough's career as he leaves us with a record of twenty-one wins against five losses, two draws and an incredible twenty knockouts. Rest in Peace.
