Salford southpaw Jamie Moore has stopped Michael Jones in six rounds of their fight tonight at the Altrincham Leisure Centre in England. Moore was seething after losing to Jones in his last fight in November of last year as it appeared that a debatable set of circumstances saw him disqualified by referee Dave Parris and Moore clearly felt that Jones could have continued. The result was a surprise given Moore's twelve round domination of Jones back in 2003. Tonight though, Moore put all doubts aside wbout who is the superior man between the two, although he had to survive two knockdowns himself before doing so. Moore rallied to put Jones down three times before the contest was halted and with the win, Jamie Moore is once again the British light middleweight champion.
