Amir Khan will finally lace up the gloves for his professional debut this coming weekend. The teenager from Bolton, England who shocked the amateur community by reaching the Gold Medal stage of the 2004 Games while being England's only boxing entrant, will take on David Bailey. It is not expected that Bailey will prove to be much of a challenge for the talented amateur lightweight, but it will be intriguing to see how Khan deals with the attention and the sheer weight of expectation heaped upon him by the bulk of the British boxing community.
News and results from all of the British and American action will be available here at SaddoBoxing.com as soon as they happen.
