It is possible that once-beaten former featherweight contender Zahir Raheem will be the opponent for Erik Morales' return to boxing later this year. Morales has been inactive since his March win over Filipino star Manny Pacquiao and had spoken of a ove up in weight to the lightweight division where Jose Luis Castillo, Diego Corrales and Julio Diaz ply their trade among many others. Raheem's only loss came against undefeated featherweight contender Rocky Juarez who is set to contest the WBC featherweight title against champion In Jin Chi very soon.
