Samuel "The Nigerian Nightmare" Peter has received the news fresh from his seconds round destruction of Taurus "The Bull" Sykes that he will ve fighting yet another bull in his next fight. Only this time, he will be facing "The Bull of the Bosporus" Sinan Samil Sam. Samil Sam has won six straight fights since his back to back losses to Juan Carlos Gomez and Luan Krasniqi. Sam is a powerful puncher but a plodding fighter that can be outworked. It was easy work for a technician such as Gomez to outpoint Sam, but it will likely be a battle of attration against Peter who makes no bones about his desire to get in the ring and trade shots at close quarters with his opponents. Samil Sam and Peter are the WBC's third and fourth rated contenders respectively behind the top two contenders for Vitali Klitschko's title, Hasim Rahman and Monte Barrett.
