DaVarryl "Touch of Sleep" Williamson is used to turning his opponent's lights out, but more often than not in recent years, it was his career that was taking a nap. No more though, as the hard-hitting Denver based heavyweight will receive a title chance against IBF champion Chris Byrd later this year. There were several mooted opponents for Byrd earlier this year including WLadimir Klitschko and Sergei Lyakhovich and it was Klitschko's court appeal that brought about this current situation. A judge upheld Williamson's rating in the IBF standing and mandated that Byrd must defend the title he won in a fight with Evander Holyfield against Williamson.
