While at the Hopkins-Taylor weigh-in on Friday, Antonio Tarver sat right behind me and was yelling "One more win," to Oscar de la Hoya. I turned and asked the "Magic Man" for his prediction on tomorrow night's fight, and Tarver said, "Taylor is a very young, strong, and exciting fighter that has all the amateur pedigree needed. |
The problem is that he has never even been the main event of an HBO card, and now he has to deal with the pressures of being the main show of a pay-per-view card. Let me tell you, it's not easy! I think that Bernard's experience will be too much in the end and I think that the more that this fight goes on, it will favor Hopkins. Once Hopkins wins, we are supposed to fight. I think the fans deserve a great fight and I know that Hopkins vs. Tarver would be a great one. I would be fair and agree to a catch-weight of 170-pounds. Just one more win BABY! It's ON!"
