Woods's fourth crack at a world championships after bringing Johnson to Sheffield twice and before that, losing to Roy Jones Jr. in six rounds back in 2002. Hoye recently defeated former champion Montell Griffin to secure his place as mandatory challenger for the IBF belt and now, his chance comes against Woods to become a world champion for the first time at age thirty.
