Lightweight sensation Amir Khan started his professional career with a bang on Saturday night in England when he knocked out unknown David Bailey in a single round. Khan was a chief support to what was supposed to be a huge heavyweight contest but all that changes when Danny Williams claimed to have the flu and did not show to fight Matt Skelton. In his place, former Audley Harrison victim Mark Krence stepped in and was knocked out by Skelton in seven rounds. But it is the start of what may be a great future for Khan as he tested the professional waters for the first time and was a great success.
SaddoBoxing will bring you all of the coverage on Khan's professional progression as it develops.
