Roy Jones Jr.’s Square Ring and Goossen Tutor Promotions are pleased to congratulate Andre Ward, who was honored last weekend at the 2005 Victor Awards for his Gold Medal winning performance in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Ward, 4-0 (2 KOs) as a professional fighting in the middleweight division, received this prestigious award last Saturday in Las Vegas, along with elite athletes and coaches from 15 sports. The awards broadcast will premiere on Fox Sports Net (FSN) on July 23, 2005, and will run at various times throughout the rest of the month. The Victor Awards are presented to the most outstanding athletes and coaches in major categories as nominated by the board of directors of the City of Hope, which benefits the Children’s Hospital at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Los Angeles. Andre Ward will be back in the ring on August 18 featured on FSN’s Best Damn Sports Show Period.
