Twenty-six-year-old Rolando Reyes of California headlined the ShoBox card held last night at the Chumash Casino in his home state with a crushing knockout of Courtney Burton in eight rounds. The win was Reyes's fourth win on the bounce since losing to Miguel Angel Huerta last year. Burton, whose win over unorthodox journeyman Emanuel Augustus last year caused huge controversy because of the referee's performance and the wayward judging that awarded Burton the win, suffers his fourth career knockout, all of which have come by knockout. In his last fight, Burton was knocked out by lightweight hopeful Ebo Elder. Reyes' new record is 25-3-2 (16).
