Announcer Amy Hayes Joins Halquist Promotions

World renowned model and ring announcer Amy Hayes is the newest member of Halquist Productions.

Dubbed as the "Lady of the Ring”, Hayes was featured in a special Playboy pictorial, shot at legendary Gleason’s Gym. She also appeared in Maxim, which included her in a boxing-themed shoot.

Hayes however is far more than just a pretty face.

Since calling her first match in 1999, Amy’s announced more than 100 fight cards, including a run as the exclusive emcee for Fox Sports Net’s Sunday Night Fights.

“I’m really excited to work with Halquist Productions,” stated Hayes. “They’re one of the best promoters in boxing.”

Hayes also appeared on ESPN, Showtime and HBO and went down in the history books as the first woman to announce a world title fight.

"We're thrilled to have Amy on board," said Brian Halquist, CEO of Halquist Productions. "She's an outstanding announcer and she has broken many barriers in boxing." Halquist Productions is very pleased to now have the two best ring announcers in the world, Amy Hayes and Jimmy Lennon Jr, who announced 5 cards for us in 2011."

Details about “Battle at the Boat 85,” which takes place January 21 at Tacoma’s Emerald Queen Casino, will be available in the coming days. Information is also available on Halquistproductions.com.
