Jimmy Lange Statement On The Passing Of Angelo Dundee

We’ve lost a great human being whose contributions reached far beyond the world of boxing. I had the privilege and honor to have Angelo working in my corner for many of my fights over the past six years.

To me he was a friend, confidant and a great boxing mind.

I’m glad that I was able to talk with him on a regular basis and we recently discussed my upcoming fight. His advice was always inspiring and encouraging to me. He always seemed to be correct in his analysis.

I will miss him dearly but he will always be in my heart and in my thoughts. My prayers are with him and his family. May God bless him and bring him peace.
