Reports indicating that former undisputed light welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu might return to the ring to fight conqueror Ricky Hatton might be a tad premature. Tszyu is quoted as saying that "if" he returns to the ring, a Hatton fight would be his first course of action. However, due to Tszyu's current age of thirty-five, the beating he took from Hatton and the fact that he has really achieved all there is to achieve in the weight class, makes the possibility of his comeback quite unlikely. Meanwhile, Ricky Hatton's future fights contain multiple possibilities, and further complicating any certain prediction on where Hatton will fight, and against whom, is the fact that his contract with promoter Frank Warren expired with the first Tszyu fight. Hatton is entertaining contract talks with some of the biggest American promoters.
SaddoBoxing will keep you informed of the decisions of both fighters.
