Zab Judah may no lonegr be facing Sharmba Mitchell at the Gund Arena on September 3, but WBO light middleweight champion Daniel Santos will certainly be in action. The Puerto Rican champion will defend his title against former WBA welterweight champion Jose Antonio Rivera. Santos will have been inactive for a year by the time of the fight, his last fight a nine round technical decision against current WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito. Santos' record currently stands at twenty-nine wins against two losses, a draw and twenty knockouts to his credit. Rivera comes to the fight with a record of thirty-seven wins, four losses, one draw and twenty-four knockouts.
