Fresh off his seven-day honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Martin, undefeated heavyweight contender Calvin Brock (26-0, 21 KO’s) offers his prediction for the Aug 13 Hasim Rahman-Monte Barrett heavyweight contest: “I think the fight is a toss-up, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Barrett scores the upset. Barrett is underestimated by many people. He’s a good fighter, he’s got a lot of heart, and he comes in good shape. His strong points are that he pumps his jab, he has good head movements, and he throws good combinations. Rahman will need to counter-punch Barrett using short hooks and straight punches down the middle. He’ll also need to land good body shots.”
