Longtime WBO super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe will return to action this September, though who against is not yet known at this time. After having a title fight with Brian Magee scrapped earlier this year an embarking on a rematch with Germany's Mario Veit, Calzaghe has done little to convert those that believe he will be an easy victim for powerful IBF champion Jeff Lacy if and when they meet later this year. No word has come from Calzaghe's promoter Frank Warren on whom Calzaghe will face as a last warm-up for a potential Lacy fight but SaddoBoxing will keep you informed of that status of this situation as we receive the news.
