Ricky “Hitman” Hatton Ends Speculation On Ring Return

Ricky Hatton has announced his return to the ring last week as a Welterweight and it’s created a ‘buzz’ in the boxing world as speculation of his next opponent becomes ‘hot topic’.

The sensational announcement came to media representatives at a press conference on Friday when the former World Champion admitted that despite the thrill of getting title fights for his boxers – it didn’t fill the gap left after his last fight three years ago when he suffered a second-round knockout by Manny Pacquiao.

A rocky road followed when personal problems put the ‘Hitman’ in the limelight for reasons other than his impressive boxing career, but he ploughed his efforts back into training and promoting and seems to have settled down in recent months.
