Battle at the Boat’s 7th Year!
(Tacoma, WA) The Battle at the Boat boxing series, the Northwest’s most successful series, has announced dates for the 2006 season. “We are very excited to continue into 2006”, said promoter, Brian Halquist. “We have signed the best boxers in the area in 2005, including Walter Wright (8-1), David Torres (10-0) and Roger Cantrell (3-0) and the fans are seeing some world class talent develop” Halquist said. “This next year we will continue to have better and bigger shows. It’s been fantastic working with the Puyallup Tribe of Indians and the Emerald Queen Casino. We are starting a VIP Fight Club that will allow our season ticket holders to special pre-event functions and pay-per-view shows at the casino. There will be additional promotional opportunities for the fans and sponsors”, Halquist said.
