Liverpool’s Olympia played host to another sell-out Prizefighter Tournament last night. Billed as ‘Rocky and the Betfair Prizefighters’ – the Eddie Hearn promoted eight-man tournament saw a fantastic line-up in the ‘Lightweight Division’.
But it was Manchester’s Terry Flannigan who lifted the Prizefighter trophy at the end of the night – having beaten Gary Sykes of Dewsbury in the final.
Also on the bill – Liverpool’s Rocky Fielding won the vacant English Super-Middleweight Title by stopping Carl Dilks (also of Liverpool) in the fifth round.
