Against an as of yet unspecified opponent, WBO featherweight champion of the world Scott Harrison will return to the ring in defense of his crown later this year. In Glasgow, Harrison will hold court to his new challenger, whomever it will be on October 1, the same night that Stateside, Roy Jones and Antonio Tarver fight for the right to be known as the undisputed light heavyweight champion of the world. Harrison's last performance was an impressive four round demolition of Michael Brodie in June. Harrison's name is constantly linked with that of great Mexican champions such as Juan Manuel Marquez and Marco Antonio Barrera and this upcoming fight is sure to be yet another tune up in the hopes that one such major name fighter can be secured for Harrison in the future.
