Nothing is concrete yet with Joe Calzaghe having to win his next title defense against unknwon super middleweight Evans Ashira, but if he does win, Calzaghe will likely have to face IBF/IBO super middleweight champion Jeff Lacy in London. the proposed bout is touted to happen at the Excel Arena in London, a fitting sized venue for the huge unification bout between Calzaghe, the longest serving super middleweight champion, and Lacy, the most explosive force at the weight. Calzaghe faces the challenge of Ashira next weekend in Cardiff.
