The best laid comeback plans of Wayne "Big Truck" Braithwaite were destroyed in style tonight at the Gund Arena in Cleveland as Guillermo Jones took Braithwaite out in four rounds. Jones came into the bout with a solid 33-3-2 record and put his power to work early on. This is the second successive fight that Jones has taken out a former world champion, having dealt with former IBF titlist Kelvin Davis earlier on this year. The fight was a WBA cruiserweight title eliminator and with the win, Jones should be in line to take on unified champion Jean Marc Mormeck of France. Braithwaite tumbles to his second loss.
