Said Byrd:
"I have always been willing to fight anybody, from No, 15 on up, and that is still the case. I just want to fight.
"It is frustrating I have been off for so long because I have wanted to fight. I was willing to go to Germany if that would have been the deal.
"This is going to be a very good fight. DaVarryl has a big punch and I know he will come in determined.
"This will be a great challenge, but I am always willing to accept a challenge.''
