Undefeated Scottish prospect Kevin Anderson tests his meddle tonight by challenging Commonwealth Welterweight Champion Joshua Okine at the Ice Rink in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. Matchroom Sport promotes the card, which also features former Commonwealth Super Feather beltholder Craig Docherty and Sky Sports televises live in the UK. Anderson, the Celtic titlist, has been spotless in 14 pro contests so far in his career but has never faced the likes of the hard as nails Okine. Hailing from the legendary Bukom neighborhood of Accra, Ghana, Okine has won all six of his bouts since losing a welterweight title bout to countryman Ossie Duran, the current Commonwealth Light Middle kingpin, in 2003. The champion is no stranger to Britain, having thoroughly handled British Champion David Barnes this past June on the Hatton - Tszyu undercard in Manchester.
